Services


Standard Performed Services 
Beckstead Lawn Care mowing service is provided weekly beginning in the spring and ending in the fall. BLC will inform clients at the beginning of the season when services will begin and toward the end of the season when services will end. BLC mowing service includes lawn mowing, trimming, edging, blowing and bagging and removal of clippings where needed otherwise grass will be mulched.  All intended grass areas of your yard are included in the quoted price, however, grass or weeds growing within beds or other areas beyond the intended grass yard will not be mowed or trimmed. This includes but is not limited to overgrowth into beds and is at the discretion of the team member performing the mowing service. Trimming is done around beds, fences and trees and edging is done along and sidewalks and driveways in the front yard. BLC will blow clippings away from driveway and walking paths. BLC will bag and remove clippings from property where needed, otherwise the grass will be mulched. BLC provides an additional cost service of weed spraying maintenance. This will be added at the request of the client and is not included in standard service pricing.

Landscaping and Other Services

BLC offers full landscaping, sprinkler installation, sprinkler repair, grading, topsoil, bark and gravel services. BLC also provides spring and fall yard cleanup services and yard maintenance plans. Each requested service will be quoted to client separately with estimated quantities and costs for each item necessary to complete the requested service.

Service Pricing

BLC weekly service pricing is based on square footage with a minimum of $30/yard. Multiple properties, even if neighboring and owned by the same client, will be quoted, billed and serviced separately. A team member will assess the property and assign a quote prior to services being performed. Additional services will be quoted separately from weekly lawn maintenance services.

Invoicing and Payment for Service 

BLC will invoice each client mid-month for regular lawn care services.  BLC terms of payment are by the end of the month of invoicing. We accept cash, checks, electronic checks and Venmo (@Beckstead-Lawn-Care). BLC will discontinue services if payment is not received by due date until account is paid in full. To resume services, BLC will assess length of grass and whether client must be billed for missed services in order to maintain the lawn again. For additional services or landscaping, client will be billed as soon as possible and will have due upon receipt terms.

 Assigned Lawn Service Day
To ensure you can plan appropriately and align other yard care services, Beckstead Lawn Care is currently scheduling services for Monday in the Lehi/Saratoga Springs area and Wednesday for the Payson/Santaquin area.

 Gates, Pets and Children
All children must remain indoors for the duration of the performance of service. Pets must remain indoors or locked in a secure kennel and all gates must be unlocked on your mow day. If we arrive for services and cannot access any portion of the yard due to a child or pet in the yard or a locked gate, you will still be charged the full-service price. BLC will also not mow any lawns with animal feces. This must be picked up prior to your scheduled service day. BLC is careful to ensure closure of gates but is not liable for lost animals in the event a gate is not fully closed.

Items in the Yard
We ask all customers to remove any small items from the yard prior to scheduled service days (sandbox toys, balls, garbage, etc.). Large items such as trampolines will be moved and mowed under.  BLC is not responsible for loss or damage to any items not removed prior to scheduled service or injuries that result from use of any items after they have been moved by our service team.

Watering 
Please do not water your lawn on your service day until the service team has left the premises. Wet grass can cause clumping and streaking and BLC wishes to provide you the highest quality service possible.

Holidays, Inclement Weather and Other Unforeseen Events
On weeks where a national holiday lands on your scheduled service day or the weather does not permit mowing, we will contact you through email to let you know of the change. You will also be contacted through email in advance for any other reason your service day may change.

Customer Satisfaction and Cancellation of Service
In order to provide the highest quality of service, we allow complaints within 24 hours of service at becksteadlawncare@gmail.com. A team member will work directly with you to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction.  You may also cancel service at any time. You must contact us by 5 PM MST at least one day prior to your scheduled service date at becksteadlawncare@gmail.com or contact one of our team members to confirm cancellation. Services are not cancelled until you receive a confirmation email back.

Referral Program and Discounts
BLC recognizes that its satisfied clients are our best marketing tool. For each client referral, after the referred client’s first mowing service is performed and payment is received from new client, the referring client will receive a 50% discount on their next weekly mowing service.

Damage
If Beckstead Lawn Care damages a sprinkler head, we will repair or replace the damage as soon as possible. Please contact BLC at any time at becksteadlawncare@gmail.com or Zach Beckstead @ (801) 857-4801.
